Similar to when we played against Souderton earlier in the season, this evening was an equally entertaining field hockey match. Both teams showcasing a lot of skill, speed and ball movement.

We are and continue to be proud of all student-athletes. One of our milestones this year was for continued progression throughout the season. Our team IS getting better each game - a true mark of a good team is that they have a selfless pursuit to play for each other and win. They are having fun both on and off the pitch - it has been such a pleasure for all of our coaches to coach them.

Credit to each of our lines (front/mid/backs) continued to step to the ball for the entire match. Kendra Pitts (Freshman - GK) stood strong in the cage against a potent Souderton attack. Tonight's match was very special for many of our seniors - winning only 4 games (then) to being 16-1 this season.
Souderton Comments
West came out with a lot more energy then we did the first half. We turned things around a bit the second half, but we just couldn’t finish offensively. We had some nice shots and had some good pressure in their circle, but the West goalie and the rest of the defense denied us every time. I’d like to think the game was actually closer than the final score, but there’s no denying West has a talented, balanced team.
