Notes: North Penn scored in the first minute and a half of the game and never looked back. They kept control of the game and connected extremely well on the field by keeping possession of the ball and not allowing CB South to generate much offense. Credit given to CB South's defense and goalkeeper for holding off North Penn in the second half. Jillian Lampitoc was relentless in the circle tonight scoring both goals for the Knights. One was on a broken up corner and the second was off of a beautiful pass from right forward Eleni Kountroubis. Maddie Waldspurger and Katie Blanch led the midfield tonight and did a great job distributing the ball to their outside mids and forwards.

North Penn record: 4-3-1 (Continental Conference 3-2)

We had a somewhat disastrous start to the game giving up an early goal to a talented and aggressive North Penn team. North Penn controlled the majority of the game and we were unable to generate any offense. We were held without a corner and could only manage two shots on goal. Coach Shannon McCracken (North Penn) does an excellent job and her teams are always well-coached. North Penn played with poise and confidence and should be congratulated on a well-played game. While we are still trying to find the right combinations and the best line-up, I am proud that we continued to fight and played better defense in the second half. Sophomores Sarah Cooper and Anna Shirley had an excellent game for CB South.
