I thought we played a strong game for all 4 quarters, even though it took us quite awhile to get on the scoreboard. It's nice to get a win against a talented league opponent. Defensively we hadn't really been challenged the last few weeks, so I wasn't sure what to expect today. But our team defense was solid and I'm proud of the effort the entire team put forth.

CB south's Erin Smith scored at 10:25 of P2 on an assist by Julia Cooper. The score remained 1-0 at halftime and until 5:01 of P3 when Reilly Knize (Borisow) tied the game. Souderton then scored the go-ahead goal when Caiden Reimel (Frye) tipped in a ball minutes later. In P4 Souderton added two more goals.

Pat Toner: Souderton is a very strong and well-coached team. They have excellent skill, good speed, good defense and deserve their current number 1 ranking in the District One seedings. We played well today but we definitely have some areas that we need to continue to improve. Congrats to both teams on a hard-fought game.
