Souderton fell to Boyertown on Friday afternoon, after they struggled to find the back of the net. Souderton had a chance in the first 30 seconds, as Taylor Yoder did well to beat her defender but sent the shot just wide. Souderton continued to press in the first five minutes, but weren't able to convert their chances.

With 30 minutes left in the half, Boyertown flipped the game on its head after converting a corner kick with a near post header. Following the goal, Boyertown was able to gain momentum, and continued to threaten from a number of corner kicks. Souderton's goalkeeper Ashlyn Odenwald did well to hold Boyertown to one goal, as she came up with a huge save with 15 minutes left. It almost paid dividends, as Katie Pazdziorko immediately created a chance for Souderton at the opposite end. Pazdziorko created a second chance shortly after, as she slotted a cross back post for Averie Doughty who got a toe on the ball to poke it just wide of the Boyertown net.

At half, Boyertown led by a goal and Souderton was frustrated that they didn't have a goal to show for their efforts. Boyertown was able to capitalize on Souderton's frustration in the second half, as the Indians missed a few good chances. Boyertown continued to apply the pressure, but had failed to break down Souderton's defense for a second goal.

The Indian's almost found the goal they had been searching for, as Kaitlyn DiCandilo hit a free kick inches over the bar with 23 minutes left to play. Boyertown responded immediately with a chance that was blocked on the line by Souderton defender Sophia Ofalt and the follow-up shot was smothered by Odenwald. Despite their best defensive efforts, Souderton conceded their second goal off another set piece minutes later.

The Indians threw numbers forward in the last 15 minutes, but left themselves exposed to a counter attack, which Boyertown was able to capitalize on with 9 minutes left to play to put the finishing touch on the match.
