Central Bucks West Comments
We beat Souderton 1-0

We finally played 80 minutes of soccer. Even tho the score was 1-0 all we needed was that second goal and the flood gates would’ve opened. We had so many chances, so many shots, and so many set pieces but we couldn’t find that second goal.

Ryan Fitz played a thru ball to Taylor Moyer, Taylor made a great cut back out side the 18 and hit a laser upper 90 to give us the lead 2 minutes into the game.

We dominated the entire game. Our midfielders Tori Albrecht and Erin Fitz were tremendous. My back 4 of Keely McGlone, Courtney Moylan, Bella Centenara, and Gracie Miller played lights out. We remembered what they did to us last year and it wasn’t going to happen again.

We had 2 great league wins this week and now we get our chance against Pennridge on Tuesday night.
Souderton Comments
Souderton - 0
CB West - 1

An early goal proved to be the difference between Souderton and Central Bucks West on a rainy Friday night. CB West started the half by pressing Souderton immediately and winning a ball in the midfield, before sending it wide to a West attacker. After a sharp cut inside, the West attacker struck a cross/shot at a tough angle that flew off her foot and curled in the opposite top corner of the net to put the hosts up 1-0.

West was able to ride that energy from their electric start for the remainder of the match. Any ball that reached their back line was sent forward into the attack, where West continued to force Souderton's defense to come up with consistent stops to prevent West from extending their lead. Souderton was pinned in their own half for much of the match, and defenders Grace Kelley, Payton Carroll, Darby Kramer, and Ella Kregel stood strong. Souderton's Goalkeeper Morgan Molyneaux held strong to make a number of crucial saves, while also being forced to collect countless services into the box from set pieces and corner kicks.

In the end, Souderton couldn't get the attack started to mount a comeback against a high-pressing CB West.
