CR North wins 3-2 against CB East

Scores were the following: 16-25, 25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 16-18

If I didn't know any better, I would've never guessed that this was the first match of the season. It was excellent play on both sides. North is a very talented team, always is.

I am so proud of my girls and how resilient they were throughout the whole match. It kept going back and forth and was such a battle. After losing notable seniors last year, I was ready for these girls to really step up and show who they are and that is what they did tonight. I can't wait to see what they do this season if this is how we are starting. We had contributions from everyone!

Anna Ritter had 44 assists, with 1 ace, 2 kills and 17 digs. Vivien Agassi led the offense with 13 kills and added 1 ace and 13 digs. Maddy Lacouture hit a .476 with 11 kills. Ava Napoletano added 8 kills. Camille Larson was also a huge spark on offense with 6 kills at pivotal moments in the game. Caroline Eldringhoff added 6 kills and 3 blocks. Morgan D'Angelo led the defense with 23 digs and added 2 aces. Chloe Mettile had a huge night on defense with 14 digs and 4 aces. Abby Killough played hard and also contributed 12 digs and 2 aces.

This was a true team effort and I once again am really proud of how the girls played tonight and look forward to building on it throughout the season.
