–The game: “With goals scored in all four quarters, PW received offensive contributions from a number of players. Leading the way was Gracie Kerns with four goals. Sammy Callan put the Hatboro-Horsham goalie under a great deal of pressure with her shot selection throughout the game and finally scored a beautiful reverse goal early in the third quarter.”
Up next: Plymouth Whitemarsh will host New Hope-Solebury in a non-league SOL crossover game Tuesday. Hatboro-Horsham will travel to Cheltenham Tuesday.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 4, NESHAMINY 1
In a non-league crossover battle between defending division champions, it was Claire Demmer (Zola Morelli assist) scoring during corner play late in the opening quarter that sent the Bucks into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
Goals by Tori Taurino (on a corner) and Lucy Smith in the third quarter upped that lead to 3-0 before the Redskins got on the board in the fourth quarter when Eva Garrison scored with 6:40 remaining. Morelli’s goal in the closing seconds gave the Bucks their final margin of victory.

–The game: “Well executed passing game to secure the win against an athletic Neshaminy team. Our speed and hustle throughout our lines made big difference controlling the game – Laney Hall in the back, Heidi Schoenleber in the midfield and Zola Morelli on the forward line.”

Cassidy Landis set up pair of Sunny Draper goals in a nine-minute span in the first quarter of Monday night’s rivalry game against the Lady Rams, and Landis was just getting started. In the second quarter, Landis assisted on an early goal by Cadence Jozefowski, and she made it 4-for-4 with her second assist to Jozefowski in the third quarter for the 4-0 final.
With the win, Quakertown upped its record to 9-0.

–The game: “Rivalry day against Pennridge always brings high energy and great competition, and the squad was ready from the opening whistle. Just two minutes into the match, we earned a corner and executed the play to perfection, finding the back of the net and setting an immediate tone. Throughout the contest, our team’s recent emphasis on crisp ball movement and connected passing was on full display as we moved with purpose against a well-coached Pennridge.”

Sparked by the glittering offensive effort of Cara Torgan – who scored all four of her team’s goals, the Lions celebrated their Pink Game with a shutout win over the visiting Drakes on Friday.
“The evening was especially meaningful as the Lions celebrated their Pink Game, bringing awareness to the cause while raising funds to support those affected by cancer,” LM coach Deb Lawlor said. “This game was a testament to players playing for something bigger. I truly appreciate my players’ awareness and commitment to helping others.”

Lower Moreland coach Deb Lawlor:
–The game: “Cara Torgan scored in three of the four quarters, leading the Lower Moreland Lions with all four goals in their victory over Jenkintown. Maddie Broderick assisted on Torgan’s first goal just minutes into the game, giving the Lions an early lead. Jenkintown packed its defensive circle, forcing Lower Moreland to stay patient and find creative ways to penetrate the space. The Lions continued to pressure offensively, creating opportunities and capitalizing when they found openings. Lower Moreland’s persistence and teamwork helped secure the win.”

The Colonials handed the visiting Whippets their first loss of the season, using goals by Gracie Kerns in the opening quarter and an insurance goal by Kaleigh Boland in the third quarter.
The Whippets are ranked sixth in the latest District 1 3A power rankings while the Colonials are 13th.

–The game: “PW started the game strong and with intensity to set the tone today. Gracie Kerns scored an unassisted chip shot into the upper left of the net with 1:41 left in the first quarter to give the Colonials a 1-0 lead, a score which would hold through the half.
“Downingtown West came out strong in the second half and put us on our heels, but the defense remained composed, and Lily Barclay came up with some key saves. Kayleigh Boland increased the lead getting a touch around the goalkeeper at the 4:50 mark of the third quarter. Despite Downingtown West earning a number of offensive corners in the fourth quarter, PW’s team play prevailed.”
